screen which has many controls for the car such as its speakers and other functions of
the car’s modes, Sport, Eco and Normal. “It even has an inbuilt GPS system and has
driver assistance such as ABS which stands for Anti-Locking Brakes. It even features
almost fully autonomous driving without any driver input in its newest models. It’s also
quite reliable and easy to drive, making it a perfect beginner car for anyone who wants
easy and carefree driving." As you can see, The Toyota Prius is an all-rounder and a
great car for beginners, but its cost is the factor which makes it highly inaccessible for the
common people: 12 million Rupees.
There are also many other factors that make new cars seem pointless when considering
the price. Due to automakers such as Toyota and BMW having gone through many years
of experimenting and seeing what people want, they have lost their passion and have
started to view cars as a way to reach from Point A to Point B. Companies have also
begun cutting costs at every possible turn, seats are now being made of artificial leather
and carpets made of rigid cloth. Thanks to this cutting of costs, many new cars have
begun rusting and needing repairs quicker than before. Engineers and designers have
been restricted from the heavy rules and tests to follow, limiting the creativity and flow of
design whether it be the engine or the car itself designs. huge screen in the interior which
controls every operation in the car; if the screen malfunctions, then you are at a huge risk.
A major flaw that has caused a couple of accidents is the focus on the screens provided
in the cars. An excellent example is the Tesla Model Y. These cars also use cheap
materials so that the automakers can benefit from repair costs.
