SNS (Solut) continues to provide enterprise technology support services in collaboration with local IT support staff and school administration. Based on discussions with district and school administrative staff, technology infrastructure and service issues are no longer a significant concern within the school district.
To date SNS (Solut) is actively involved in:
•designing, implementing and maintaining the SuperNet, wide-area, and local-area network infrastructure.
•designing, implementing and maintaining the Ruckus wireless infrastructure.
•designing, implementing and maintaining the customer edge device (Customer Edge Device (CED) - Fortinet) infrastructure.
•designing, implementing and maintaining the Microsoft Server (Dell PowerEdge) infrastructure and associated services.
•designing, implementing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery procedures.
•designing, implementing and maintaining the NEC VOIP infrastructure.
•designing, implementing and maintaining a Microsoft inventory, patching, and imaging infrastructure.
ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS
The environmental analysis involved identifying and reviewing the extraneous variables (infrastructure, service level agreements, contracts, network design, policies, procedures, and IT-ET alignment, practices, and service requirements) required to develop a Microsoft server ever- green plan that aligns with district IT-ET goals.
