THE ADVENTURES OF FOUR FRIENDS

My friends and I were super tired and had bad headaches
after staying up late. We were at my house, watching a
new movie. We had yummy snacks like popcorn and Pranay Chauhan
nachos, and some juice. The movie was halfway over, and S/o Sh. Nitin Kumar (Dy. Comdt)
our nacho bucket was empty. So, I went to the kitchen to
get more. But guess what? I saw something totally weird at
            the end of my kitchen.

“Guys!” I called out, my voice really quiet. “You have to see eyes. There was a waterfall and a pond with lots and lots of
this.” Advik was still yawning, and Khyat was totally focused flowers all around it. We had to go there. We all wanted to
on the movie. They both mumbled, like they didn’t want to stay there forever. The flowers were just that amazing.
move. “Can’t it wait? The dragon is about to breathe fire!”
            Khyat said.

They finally got off the couch and walked into the kitchen.
The look on their faces was something else. Advik dropped
his popcorn. “Whoa! What is that?”

Khyat slowly walked towards the sparkly thing. “It looks like
a portal? Like in a movie?” We were all really curious about
what was on the other side. Then, my friend Amartya said
we should all go in. But Khyat asked why we should. He
said we didn’t know what was happening on the other Advik, mouth full of popcorn, stared wide-eyed. Famil-
side. We argued a little bit, but then we all decided to go iar-looking animals roamed the flowered landscape.
in and see what was going on.
                                                            Suddenly, there was a scream!

We rushed to the corner and saw mushroom-shaped
people. Strangely, the younger ones were huge, while the
oldest were tiny. Everyone parted as a minuscule figure
                                                            approached.

“You’re new here,” he said, his voice surprisingly deep.
“Welcome to the Sporewood.” “Sporewood?” Advik
                                                            mumbled, popcorn bits flying.

After that, we jumped into the portal. You won’t believe Wise One pointed to a giant, glowing mushroom. “The
what we saw! It was so pretty that we couldn’t believe our Heart of the Sporewood.” Amartya was bewildered. “But…
