Bank.
The nearest bank is located near
roundabout 4 next to the driving
range. It has a cash machine.
There is another bank at the
Bougainvillea Plaza which also
has a cash machine. Both of
these banks have currency ex-
changes. Banking hours are 8.30
am to 3 pm Monday to Friday

Post Office
The post office is located in the Guest Services office at the 2nd roundabout and is open from 9
am to 6 pm Monday to Friday. They have the usual range of post office services as well as two
telephone booths for public use at the driving range. They also sell phone cards and guide
books.
Newsagents
The nearest place to get a newspaper is at the Quinta do Lago hotel which is about 10 minutes
walking distance. They also sell newspapers at the supermarket at Vilar do Golf and there is a
newsagents at Quinta Shopping at the entrance to Quinta do Lago.

Doctors
The Family Medical Centre has two surgeries locally, one in Vilar do Golf, just off roundabout 4
and one at the entrance to Vale do Lobo, behind the supermarket. Both have English or English
speaking staff. The surgery at Vilar do Golf is open from 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, Satur-
