Location of Villa Vermonte

Villa Vermonte is situated in the heart of Quinta do Lago close to the sea.
Founded in 1972 it has, over the past 45 years, has developed into one of the
most prestigious and exclusive developments in Europe. Whilst only 8% of the
1800 acres estate can be devel-
oped this has nevertheless al-
lowed a wide range of luxury
villas, apartments and country
clubs to be built. Quinta do
Lago has maintained its natural
surroundings, in keeping with
the Rio Formosa Nature Re-
serve, which it borders, yet still
offers unrivalled sports and
recreational facilities. Quinta do
Lago has a total of 5 golf cours-
es making it one of the largest golf complexes in Europe and this that has helped create the
low density, environmentally sensitive development we can all now enjoy.
The large main lake and the beach offers a variety of water-sports . There are two nature
trails along the Ria Formosa nature reserve with 2 hides for birdwatchers. The Campus multi-
sports centre includes tennis, padel tennis, cycling and swimming with professional tuition .
Cycling, jogging and walking are other popular activities and there are also health and beauty
spas. There are two shopping centres at the entrance to the estate and there is a good selec-
tion of top class restaurants and bars throughout the resort.
Services and Support.
All local services are provided, including pool and garden maintenance, with maid service 5
days each week, towel and linen change. During your stay these are supervised by Clube da
Quinta, the resort’s own rental management company who also provide a concierge service.
