CRPF Family Welfare Association (CWA)



        The CRPF Family Welfare Association(CWA), was formed in the year 1995. On 22nd June 1995,
        CWA got registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, Government of Delhi, as a
        non profit society. As per its charter, all wives of CRPF personnel are its members. CWA works

        towards encouraging  women to become self-reliant and independent in facing challenging

        situations. CWA believes in well-being of CRPF  families, keeping to its core values of Sarthak
        Sahyog Sarvada.



        Objectives of CWA:


        ¾   To promote programmes for rehabilitation of widows and spouses of Martyrs, intellectual and
            physical divyang children and CRPF divyang personnel. To generate a sense of accomplishment in

            the minds of ladies and develop managerial skills in them.
        ¾   To pursue programmes to facilitate development of academic/vocational skills, training for the
            serving and retired CRPF personnel and their families.

        ¾   To work in cooperation with other organisations and departments of various Ministries, Healthcare

            and Stress Management.
        ¾   To raise funds for various welfare schemes affecting the well being of CRPF families.

        ¾   To organise cultural and sports activities.
        ¾   To invest and deal with the funds of the Association as deemed fit to meet the overall aims and

            objectives of the Association.
        ¾   HIV/AIDS Prevention Programme.

        ¾   Alcohol and Drug Deaddiction Programme etc.
        ¾   Family counselling to support family for solving their family problems and financial management.

        ¾   Vocational training to ladies.
        ¾   Providing financial assistance to meritorious children.

        ¾   Imparting various skills to ladies under National Skill Development Programme (PMKVY) of Govt of
            India.
