IN-PERSON PROGRAMS
EMBRACE THE JOURNEY

The IFSA experience isn’t about simply seeing a new
culture—it’s about living one. The discoveries students make
along the way can be unexpected, and they might find it
surprising how much their education can feel like an adventure.
Whether students are navigating a new city or trying a new food,
they will be exploring culture in everything they do.

JANUARY TERM PROGRAMS
Spend a January term—about two and a half weeks—on location
taking a single class. Students will engage in one academic topic and
have enough time to explore the city and countryside. January terms
are currently available in:

Heredia, Costa Rica - Ecology and Sustainable Development in Costa Rica
Pune, India - Global Health and Development, and Essential Hindi

Rome, Italy - Italian Art, Power, and Influence
Mérida, Mexico - Multicultural Psychology

Barcelona, Spain - Social Media Marketing in the Age of Self
