City Beautiful!

H ERE IN ORLANDO, we see sustainability as an opportunity to
drive economic growth and job creation, enhance environmental
stewardship, and improve the quality of life for our residents and
visitors. Since the inception of Green Works Orlando in 2007, we
have worked diligently to transform Orlando into one of the most
environmentally-friendly, socially inclusive, and economically
vibrant cities in the nation.
Climate change is already profoundly a ecting urban areas around the world,
creating unprecedented challenges. But these challenges present an opportunity
to demonstrate our commitment, our innovative capabilities, and our leadership
when it comes to developing market-viable, sustainable solutions.
This Symposium is one example of how the City of Orlando is engaging in
thought leadership discussions to explore intelligent solutions for a resilient future.
We are glad that you’ve been able to join us, and we look forward to hearing your
