     SUMMARY
The Chapter 3 "Love Our World" has taught students the importance of observing, reflecting,
and taking action to care for their environment. Through activities like expressing opinions,
categorizing appropriate actions, and creating impactful messages, students develop practical
English skills while fostering environmental awareness. This chapter encourages critical
thinking, collaboration, and creativity, empowering students to actively contribute to a cleaner
and more sustainable world. By connecting language learning with real-life issues, it inspires
students to make a positive di erence in their communities.
In Unit 1, students learn to use expressions for asking and giving opinions about familiar topics,
particularly related to their school environment. Key phrases like "What do you think about
___?" and "I think ___" are introduced, alongside writing and speaking activities where students
create dialogs and share ideas on improving their surroundings. Through a reading passage
about their school’s condition, students critically reflect on issues like cleanliness and propose
solutions, linking language skills to real-life environmental awareness.
In Unit 2, students explore action verbs, which are words used to describe actions or activities,
and learn how to apply them to real-life situations. Action verbs like pick up, throw away, help,
organize, and raise awareness are introduced to help students categorize appropriate actions
based on specific environmental situations, such as cleaning up trash or protecting marine life.
In Unit 3, students learn about posters, which are visual tools used to convey messages and
encourage action through clear text and impactful design. Key parts of a poster include a
headline to grab attention, short and direct messages to explain the issue, and a call to action
urging others to participate or change behavior, such as joining a cleanup event or reducing
plastic use. The unit focuses on using action verbs like protect, reduce, and organize to create
persuasive messages and includes activities where students design their own posters with
visuals and share them to inspire their peers. This unit emphasizes combining creativity and
language skills to communicate e ectively and raise awareness about environmental issues.
