But why water can make solids

soluble?

Great Question! It’s because water is

universal solvent. Solids that soluble have

ability and polarity to form hydrogend bons

which are the bons of water.

As more and more of solid is added to a liquid, the

solution reaches a stage where no more solid can

dissolve. When this happens, we say the solution

saturated.
