Message from Vice Principal
Mrs Reeta Fleming
FLOAT LIKE A BUTTERFLY, STING LIKE A BEE-MOHAMMAD ALI
As I put my pen to the paper, I couldn’t help but reflect on the
prophetic thoughts of the greatest heavy weight champions the world
has ever known…Mohammad Ali.
He went on to explain that float like a butterfly part refers to the
nimble footwork of a boxer while attacking an opponent and the sting
like a bee referred to the deadly knock-out punch to his opponent.
A big takeaway for all of us. As students you need to remain focussed,
active and strive hard to better your performance in the last lap just
before your Board/Annual Examination. Your sting should be directed
at your detractors, your weaknesses and proving to yourself that there
is no river too wide for you to swim, no mountain too high for you to
climb.
There are significant and real glimmers of hope on the horizon. With
approximately a month to the theory papers, you still have time to
work on your results. I myself have been a witness to the
determination of students whose last preparations in the last leg just
before their examinations brought about phenomenal positive
transformations. Do not give up, when it matters the most.
With this I put my thoughts to rest.
