The description: Inspired by its environment, the library in the Khasbah / Medina of Marrakech is de-
signed to become a reflection of the medieval urban development of this ancient city.
Order or Disorder?
The desire to reinterpret the fabric of the Medina is linked to the interest and the curiosity of understanding
the order hidden behind this urban genius and representing it on an architectural scale.
The Medina forms a space where the residential, economic, social and cultural functions are justaposed, this
library will be a response to the inhabitants transmit knowledge and also contribute to the training and safe-
guarding of heritage.
