REZA JAHANGIRI – Chief Executive Officer
Reza is the founder and chief executive officer of AAG, the nation’s leader in reverse mortgage lending, and an Orange
Executive Team Profiles
County Top Workplace since 2013. AAG’s unparalleled brand platform is built upon its highly-recognized national
advertising campaign featuring Emmy-award winning actor Tom Selleck. Reza serves as co-chairman of the National
Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association board of directors and chairman of Willow International, a non-profit organization
dedicated to preventing and rescuing victims of human trafficking in Uganda. Before founding AAG, Reza was president
and CEO for several healthcare service companies focused on imaging for the early detection of diseases. Reza has a Bachelor
of Science degree from the University of California, Irvine and a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.

MARTIN LENOIR – Chief Operating Officer/Chief Marketing Officer
As chief operating officer, Martin is focused on making sure AAG’s key initiatives are well resourced and managed to
ensure that the company delivers on its transformation into a senior home equity solutions provider. In his chief marketing
officer role, Martin is responsible for the entire enterprise-wide marketing function, including call center operations, digital
marketing, marketing operations, lead generation, financials, and analytics. Martin joined AAG in 2014 after leading several
blue-chip companies in similar executive roles. Martin earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of
Pennsylvania and Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

MATT ENGEL – Chief Financial Officer

As chief financial officer, Matt is responsible for the finance, treasury, capital markets, servicing and accounting aspects of
the company. Matt has 24 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting in both the public and private arena.
Before joining AAG in April 2014, he served as executive vice president for Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, a commercial real
estate services company. Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and is a
certified public accountant (inactive, Missouri).

PAUL FIORE – Chief Retail Sales & Operations Officer
As chief retail sales and operations officer, Paul oversees sales and operations for AAG’s centralized retail sales channel.
Since joining the company in 2009 as executive vice president of retail sales, Paul has helped transform AAG into the largest
retail originator in the industry. Before joining AAG, Paul was the chief learning officer at Senior Lending Network (World
Alliance Financial). He serves on the board of the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association and is a frequent speaker
at industry events. Paul earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing from the New York Institute of Technology.

MICHAEL JOSEPHS – Chief Information Officer
As chief information officer, Michael is responsible for the mission-critical technology platforms that support the company’s
business, ensuring the safety and security of its systems and the data that runs on them. He also oversees the execution of
key initiatives to further scale, optimize, and continuously improve AAG’s capabilities. Michael joined AAG in January 2016
with 25 years’ experience in the technology space. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and
philosophy from the University of Maryland, College Park.

RICK LIEBER – Chief Risk Officer
As chief risk officer, Rick is responsible for AAG’s enterprise risk functions, including compliance, licensing, exam coordination
and quality control. His focus is to ensure AAG has an effective risk and control environment that can scale as the company
grows. Before joining AAG in June 2017, Rick was the senior vice president of enterprise risk management for OneWest Bank
and held similar executive roles for other leading financial institutions. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics
from UC Santa Barbara and a Master of Business Administration degree from NYU’s Stern School of Business.

AUSTEN VERST – Chief Strategy Officer

As chief strategy officer, Austen is helping AAG create a more objective data-driven business model focused on analytics
and metrics to optimize and drive the business. Austen joined AAG in January 2007, making him the company’s second
longest tenured employee. He has directed numerous functional areas within AAG, including sales, marketing, training, IT,
customer service and business development. Austen holds a degree in industrial engineering from California Polytechnic
State University, San Luis Obispo.

JULES VOGEL – Chief Legal Officer
As chief legal officer, Jules oversees AAG’s legal department, enterprise risk management department and the internal
audit department. He also leads AAG Residential Services, a California licensed real estate brokerage subsidiary of AAG
established in August 2017. Before joining AAG in 2016, Jules served on the executive teams at IndyMac, OneWest and its
reverse mortgage servicing division, Financial Freedom. Jules has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pitzer College in
Claremont, California and a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia University, School of Law in New York.

JESSE Q. ALLEN – Executive Vice President, Alternative Distribution

As executive vice president of alternative distribution, Jesse is accountable for vision, strategy, and execution for AAG’s
national field sales and wholesale mortgage originations business. Jesse has 30 years of mortgage, consumer, and business
banking experience. Before joining AAG in September 2016, he was SVP of sales enablement and execution for Bank of
America’s home loans retail sales division. He also helmed its reverse mortgage platform. Jesse earned his Bachelor of
Business Administration from Pace University in New York.

REBECCA PACILLAS – Senior Vice President, Human Resources
As senior vice president of human resources, Rebecca is responsible for the strategic planning, leadership and operational
management of all human resources, including talent acquisition, learning & development, benefits, and performance
management. Rebecca has more than 20 years of human resources experience. Before joining AAG in November 2012,
she directed the HR function at RMA Land Construction. Rebecca studied human resources management at University of
California, Riverside.

KIMBERLY SMITH – Senior Vice President, Wholesale
As senior vice president of wholesale lending, Kim is responsible for the production and growth of AAG’s wholesale
division. Before joining AAG in January 2013, Kim served as executive vice president of sales at Generation Mortgage.
She began her reverse mortgage career in 2004 with Financial Freedom. Kim earned her Bachelor of Science degree in
Business Administration from California State University, San Luis Obispo.
