Once upon the time, there was a big competition. The
competition was initiated by an infidel Quraysh leader, Abu Jahal.

He announced his competition out loud. “To all people of
Makkah! I will give one hundred camels for whoever can find
                     Muhammad, dead or alive!”

When they heard the announcement, all people of Makkah raced to
catch Prophet Muhammad SAW. Among those people was Suraqah to
took part in the hunting competition. He was so excited to catch Prophet
Muhammad SAW because he wanted to have one hundred camels.

Suraqah rushed to get his horse. He spurred and headed north, but
Prophet Muhammad SAW was nowhere to be found. Then, he went to
the south. Suraqah’s heart beat faster as he saw Prophet Muhammad
SAW was riding a camel with Abu Bakar.

“That is Muhammad! I can’t wait to catch him and get the one

hundred camels as my prize,” he shouted excitedly. Suraqah spurred
and take his sword. As he was getting closer to Prophet Muhammad
SAW, he shouted, “Oh Muhammad, you can’t run away from me!” But
suddenly the legs of Suraqah’s horse got stag in the sand. The horse
                     collapsed and so did Suraqah.

Without wasting any time, Suraqah got back on his feet and
spurred again to catch Prophet Muhammad SAW who was getting
further away from him. Suraqah’s horse ran so fast taking Suraqah
closer to Prophet Muhammad SAW. Suraqah take his sword one more
time. But then what happen? The legs of his horse got stag again in the
sand making Suraqah fell of the back of his horse. Suraqah was

confused on what was happening. He finally realized that Prophet
Muhammad SAW was protected by Allah SWT.
