Cuisenaire rods
Let’s find out how many white Cuisenaire rods are the same length as
the other Cuisenaire rods.
Material: Cuisenaire rods
1 Prepare the Cuisenaire rods.
2 Place the Cuisenaire rod that is the same length as the given .
Example
3 Place some white Cuisenaire rods as long as the Cuisenaire rod from
step 2 , then count how many white rods are used.
Example
Four white rods
are the same length
as one purple rod.
( 4 ) rods
4 Repeat steps to find the lengths for the rest of the Cuisenaire rods.
