Materials: Pentomino activity board, 2 Pentomino sets,
2 Dividing sticks
Make rectangles by using the given number of pentomino pieces. Let’s make
them faster and bigger than the other player.
Puzzles 1. Each player takes one pentomino set except for the piece.
2. Place a pentomino activity board in the middle. Each player places a dividing
stick upon the arrow in his/her side of the activity board.
3. Make a rectangle under the dividing stick by placing the pentomino pieces.
4. The player who makes a rectangle, moves the dividing stick one space up and
repeats step 3 to make a bigger rectangle.
5. When the dividing stick is no longer be moved one space up, the player who
made the bigger rectangle wins.
