Dear bloggers,
I brought a bottle, boiled eggs, matches and newspaper to school today. They
were for a science experiment. The teacher asked us to remove the shells of the
eggs. Then, he helped us light a small piece of newspaper with a match. We
dropped it into the bottle and put the egg on the mouth of the bottle. You know
what happened next? The egg went through the narrow neck of the bottle! Isn’t
it (a) (amazed / amazing)?
The teacher explained that the air inside the bottle was (b) (removing /
removed) when the newspaper was burning. The air pressure inside the bottle
became weaker than outside. That is why the egg was pushed (c) (into/ out of)
the bottle. I never knew that science could be fun!
