Materials: 2 Tangram sets, Making quadrilaterals activity sheet,
Die (1-6), Game pieces (Red, Yellow)

Let’s make different area of quadrilaterals by using tangram pieces.

Puzzles 1. Place the making quadrilateral activity sheet in the middle of the table. Each
player takes one tangram set and a color set of game pieces.
2. Decide who will go first. In his/her turn, roll the die and move his/her game
piece according to the rolled number. Move the game piece from the Start or
the place where the game piece was. If the game piece is already on the
number, roll the die again.
3. Use tangram pieces to make a quadrilateral of the given area where the game
piece is. Note that the player must take the game piece out if he/she cannot
make the quadrilateral in a given time.
4. Take turns playing the game. The player who places more of his/her game pieces
on the activity sheet wins.
