Finding factors
Find all the factors in multiplication. The least factor of a number is always
1 and the greatest factor of a number is always the number itself.

There are always numbers formed when multiplying two numbers that are
paired or multiply the numbers in the middle twice.
Factors of 6: 1, 2, 3, 6 1^6=6, 2^3=6
Factors of 9: 1, 3, 9 1^9=9, 3^3=9
Example 1 Find all the factors.
⑴ Factors of 12:
1^12 =12
2^ 6 =12
3^ 4 =12
⑵ Factors of 24:
1^24= 24
2^12= 24
