Materials: 2 Hexagon puzzle sets, Die
Let’s make polygons by using hexagon puzzles.
Mosaic 1. Each player takes a color set of hexagon puzzle pieces.
Blocks 2. Roll the die to decide on a figure to make (3: triangle, 4: quadrilateral, 5: pentagon,
6: hexagon). If the rolled number is 1 or 2, roll the die again.
3. Each player rolls the die and decides on the number of pieces to use. If the rolled
number is 1, roll the die again.
4. Each player makes the figure given in step 2 using hexagon puzzle pieces given
in step 3. Note that the figure must be a bulging polygon (convex polygon).
5. The player who makes the polygon first wins.
