Max's weight is greater than Gina's and Lisa's, so he is the heaviest.
Gina weighs more than Lisa, does so she is the second heaviest.
Max>Gina>Lisa, so the lightest is Lisa.

2 Marble A is heavier than marbles B and C put together, so it is the heaviest.

Marble B is heavier than marble C and is the second heaviest.
The lightest marble is marble C.

An apple is equal to 3 unit weights, and 1 orange is equal to 2 unit weights.
1 apple=3 unit weights, 1 orange=2 unit weights

Two oranges are 2^2=4 unit weights.

An apple is equal to 3 unit weights, and two oranges are equal to 4 unit
weights. If the fruit is replaced by the number of unit weights the following will
be the result.

In order to balance the scale, one unit weight must be added to the left plate.

Problem solving

1 One basketball is equal to the weight of two soccer balls.

One soccer ball is equal to the weight of two volleyballs.
One basketball is equal to the weight of 2^2=4 volleyballs.
Draw 4 volleyballs in the given space.
