Materials: True-False board, Chips (4-Digit numbers), Game pieces,
4-Digit numbers card activity sheet

‘4-Digit number’ is a game to find 4-digit number chips that are placed
incorrectly in True or in False areas. You can get a hint by using different
chips, however, you will lose a point each time take a hint. Try to use a hint
as little as possible and find the chip that is placed incorrectly.

True- 1. Decide who will be the tagger and the player. Shuffle all the cards face down
False and place them aside.

2. Place the True-False board in the middle of the table facing the player. Then
spread sixteen 4-digit number chips in the rectangle area in front of the player.

3. Each player selects one game piece and puts it on Start on the board. The tagger
selects one card and reads the condition without showing it to the player.

4. The tagger selects five chips that meet the condition and places them in True
area. Also selects five chips that are not under the condition and places them in
the False area. Then switch each chip in True and False without showing them to
the player.

5. The player observes the chips in True and False areas to guess the condition and
finds each chip that is placed incorrectly. If the player cannot find them, he/she
selects one chip from the rectangle area and places it in the yellow circle. Then
the tagger moves the chip into True or False.

6. The player earns points if he/she finds the chip that is placed incorrectly and
moves his/her game piece as many points as he/she earned. If the player finds
the chip incorrectly, repeat step 5 until there is no chip to use for a hint.

Points:  16 – (Number of chips in True and False areas)

7. Switch roles and play several rounds. The player who earns 15 points first wins.
