Materials: Pattern Finder board, Pattern finder,
Pattern cards (231-250), Game pieces

Find the rule and predict what comes behind cover number 9.

Pattern 1. Shuffle all the pattern cards, select one card without looking at the pictures, and
Finder place it in the pattern finder with all the covers are closed.
2. Take turns opening the covers in order from 1 and predict the picture behind
the cover number 9.
3. The player who guesses the picture says his/her name. The player then draws or
explains the picture and checks the picture.
4. Move each player’s game piece to earn points as given below.

˙ Guessed correctly: Earn as many points as there are unopened covers,
move the game piece along the ‘’ according to the
points earned.

˙ Guessed incorrectly: Lose as many points as there are opened covers,
move the game piece along the ‘’ according to the
points lost.

5. Change the pattern cards and play several rounds. The player whose game
piece moves further along the ‘’ wins.
