Description: Near the crest of a cliff but accessible to
mammalian predators (Loutit et al. 1986). 2002 b 12

Oyster Cliffs (Cliffs south of Easter Point)
Coordinates: 25.30 S; 14.81 E Crowned Cormorant
Description: Sheer cliffs on a 4 km stretch of rocky shore
south of Easter Point with two caves at their base (Loutit Year No. of pairs
and Boyer 1985). Cape Cormorants bred in the northern 2002 a 18
cave (Loutit et al. 1986). Bank Cormorants bred on jumbled
rocks at the entrance to the southern cave and on ledges a Bartlett et al. (2003)
inside that cave. Cape and Crowned Cormorants also
nested on the ledges. African Penguins bred on a rising North Head, Spencer Bay
slope behind the jumbled rocks, amongst boulders and Coordinates: 25.67 S; 14.83 E
on accumulated guano, and may too have nested at the Description: A rocky head at the north of Spencer Bay.
