Please join us in welcoming our new Executive Chef, Danny


      James! Although we are sad to see Chef Matt go, we are

      happy that he is able to pursue other interests away from the


      culinary field and we wish him well in his new venture.





      Chef Danny James is from a small town called Earth, Texas.


      He started his career in Midland Odessa at Western Sizzlin'

      Steakhouse in 1980 and worked there for three years, then


      worked at Green Tree Country Club, Diablo Country Club,


      and Odessa Petroleum Club. In 1987, Danny moved to

      Austin, Texas, to work at Barton Creek Resort and Country


      Club. From there, he moved to Virginia and worked for seven


      years. He decided Austin was the best fit for him and started

      at The Hills of Lakeway in September of 2016 as Executive


      Chef. He joined the Headliners team in late December, just in


      time for the members’ open house. We are excited to see his

      culinary creativity and expertise at the Headliners Club!
