Looking Forward
FedTech U began in 2018 as a result of the dedicated work of initial FDCC technology leaders and pioneers including Bob Christie, Scott Kreamer, Jack Delany, and Steven Embry. One of the primary goals of FedTech U is to introduce lawyers to the concept of using
the iPad Pro to make highly effective presentations that are influential, convincing, persuasive, and compelling. Another goal
of FedTech U is to present our members with the apps, software tools, and strategies that can be used with the iPad Pro to become more organized in law practice. Some of the things 2023 attendees learned at FedTech U included: (1) useful iPad Pro features helpful for making effective presentations, (2) effectively using TrialPad and other presentation apps to present case themes, theories, and evidence
in any setting including trials, mediations, or client meetings, and (3) how to make better and more effective slides/graphics to present to judges, juries, clients and other audiences.
FedTech U is a workshop and resource the Evolve Committee provides to ensure that FDCC members remain on the cutting edge of technology. The goal
of FedTech U is always to
provide unique and innovative opportunities for FDCC members to enhance their technological skills so that they can continue to practice law at the highest levels. The Evolve Committee presents this seminar yearly, usually during the last weekend of April. Each FDCC member should strongly consider being a participant in FedTech U 2024’s edition.
