2021 AWARD WINNERS
Corporate Member Award
is presented to the Corporate
or Industry Member who has made a particularly meaningful contribution to the Federation and brings attention to the individual’s participation in the FDCC’s projects, seminars, programs
and committees, as well as their encouragement and support of new members. Kendra Jones of U.S. Steel in Springdale AR was honored with the award.
FDCC Diversity Award
is presented annually on behalf of the entire Federation to a deserving member whose efforts during
the year embody the spirit of the organization’s Diversity Statement and Initiatives, and to expand the mandate of inclusiveness within
our profession. Roger Hillman of Paramount Law Group in Seattle, WA was presented with the award.
FDCC Awardee Recognition
honors members who have rendered distinguished service to the industry, to the community and for their dedication to the ideal of free enterprise. Lee Hall
of Jenkins Fenstermaker, PLLC in Huntington, WV and Kile Turner of Norman, Wood, Kendrick & Turner in Birmingham, AL co-chair the FedLife Committee and did an exemplary job in the initial year of this important new Committee.
FDCC Connect Award
honors the FDCC member who best exemplifies the spirit of using our unparalleled referral network to send business from one Defense
Counsel Member to another, or from a Corporate Counsel Member to other Defense Counsel Members. Meloney Perry of Perry Law in Dallas, TX received the award.
FDCC Lifetime Achievement Award
honors those individuals who are above and beyond in every facet of their life and are seen as giants in their legal communities, the Federation, and their community at large. The award was presented to Sue Popik together with an oral tribute of her many inspiring contributions provided by Dan Kohane.
