a panoply of
meeting options to
its members. The
Corporate Counsel
Symposium and the
Insurance Industry
Institute are short, business-
focused meetings. Our Annual
and Winter Meetings are in diverse
places and offer longer windows
to build stronger and broader
networks amongst our members.
Whichever meetings you attend,
those meetings are where the
magic of the FDCC happens. We
vet our members with great care.
We ensure that we admit the best
lawyers and the best people. Then,
we bring these tremendous people
together and let trust, respect, and
relationships build.
This article highlights our next
several Annual and Winter meeting
locations which are nothing less
than spectacular. This was not by
accident. In 2023, we sent a written
survey to our members and asked
what they wanted from meetings.
Just under 70% of the respondents
agreed that we are an organization
of pre-eminent Defense Leaders
and should go to top resorts and
hotels that comport with who we
are. We listened and strategically
are moving upstream to the best
locations we can find.
So plan ahead to make sure you
get to spend the best time with
the best lawyers and people at
the best places. We added some
new locations, but also a return
to perhaps our members’ most
favorite (certainly my favorite)
venue.
