our lives in so many different
ways. I chose these because they
were a little random. I could tell
these same stories about so many
others we have met, whether
from Roni working Registration
or just being more likeable than
me, or me working closely with
so many talented and dedicated
people on conventions, programs,
committees, and projects, running
Family Fun days, or teaching Mills
Gallivan how to tie a bow tie (ok,
just checking to see if anyone read
this ‘til the end).
Like I said, it is a phenomenon.
Every Friday 5 ends with these
words:
WHY FDCC?
“To be the inspired community
of vetted defense counsel,
exceptional leaders and even
better people.”
Even better people. I have found
that to be true at every turn. Kudos
to our Admissions Committee.
Kudos to those who nominate new
members. Take advantage of the
opportunities presented to all of
us by the quality vetting they have
already done, and by the talented
and engaging people all around us
in this organization. Find a way to
spend some one-on-one time with
someone you have known for years
in passing at cocktail parties, sign
up for excursions and hang out with
someone new, invite the couple
sitting alone to join you. You won’t
regret it. Even if they are Eagles fans.
