The FDCC is known for being the inspired
community of vetted defense counsel and
exceptional leaders with members who
have achieved high levels of distinction
in the legal profession across the United
States and worldwide. The Federation
has always been known for providing
cutting-edge educational sessions to provide value to its
distinguished members. One of the core principles of
the FDCC is to provide members with access to unique
opportunities to enhance their skills through innovative
meetings and knowledge sharing among members.
Fed Tech U is a unique technology workshop for lawyers
that the Evolve Committee puts on every year. As
defense lawyers and defense leaders, FDCC members
have to always be aware of ways to better tell the client’s
story through the use of technology. Our approach to
technology as defense leaders can significantly aid our
mission of effectively advocating for our clients. Further,
as defense lawyers and defense leaders, FDCC members
greatly benefit from using technology and technology
tools to become more organized in law practice. Using
technology as an organizational tool can make for a
highly effective lawyer and advocate.
For the 2024 year, Fed Tech U was held in beautiful
Miami, Florida, at the headquarters of LIT SOFTWARE
from April 19-21, 2024. From all reports and feedback
received, it was another success.
