In the sea, you can compete in a deep-sea fishing tournamentintheGulfofMexico,or casuallyfishin Tampa Bay. You can take a kayak tour through mango groves and see pink spoonbills, parrots, and other wildlife. Follow the dolphins in a chartered boat or head to the nearby beach for scuba diving, jet skiing, and other water activities.
On land, you can play in the FDCC golf or tennis tournaments. If your baseball team needs some help, scout the Phillies or the Yankees at a spring training game. Play it cool at a Tampa Bay Lightning game. Walk, shop, eat, and drink on nearby Central Avenue – the heart of St. Petersburg. Alternatively, you can walk, shop, eat, and drink at the new 26-acre St. Pete Pier; or party with your friends at the FDCC Shuffleboard Picnic Party.
Landlubbers can also enjoy the local culture. From the Vinoy, you can walk to the Museum of Fine Arts and

hotel in St. Pete, according to Forbes. The FDCC has reserved 284 of the Vinoy’s 325 rooms, which means we will have the run of the place. The Vinoy features five new restaurants, a new pool bar, plus there are many great restaurants within a five-minute walk. But don’t worry -- you can work off a few calories at the Vinoy’s par-71 golf course, its tennis courts, or the Vinoy’s newly renovated fitness complex.
But try not to spend all your time at the hotel. The Sunshine City has too much to offer - in the sea, on land, and in the air!
