How to get to the place?
Visitors set off from Quito to Guayaquil, a 4-
hour trip by the Panamericana Highway. To
reach Puerto El Morro tourists can access
from Guayaquil, taking the road La Costa.
Then, takes the Puerto El Morro road for 20
kilometers to get to the entrance of the
refuge.

Main activities
Visitants will be able to tour the mangroves
in small boats, escorted by dolphins that are
in a natural and wild state. In addition,
tourists can do bird watching and enjoy boat
rides.
Costs and operation
hours
Boat rides to see the dolphins cost between
$5 and $8 depending on the route. Moreover,
to visit the island of Los Pájaros, tourists
leave at 08:00, the tour takes three hours
and when it gets to the island visitors have
to walk, it costs $8 for adults and $4 for
children.
Gastronomy
There are diverse typical dishes, but the dish
that is traditional in this port is the grilled lisa
(fish), which is served with green plantain and
onion sauce.
