FOOTBALL

F ootball is a sport that started in the 19th

century. In our school, football is the most
important and most played sport. Kids always
fight every day for our school pitch. So, the
school has set some rules. Every day, the
pitch is for a grade. On Thursday, it is for 5th
graders. In the world of football, not everybody
calls this sport "football". Americans call it
"soccer". In the world of soccer, there are old
players like Pele, Maradona, Kaka,
Ronaldinho, Xavi, Rooney, and David.

Carlos,Yashin,Pirlo,Pique, Ozil, and many more The best current players are Neymar,
Mbappe, Vinicius, Benzema, Dembele, Pogba, and more. But I forgot two of them, who are
the greatest football players of all time. Cristiano Ronaldo, Dos Santos Aveiro, and Lionel
Messi Ronaldo was born in 1985 in Portugal, and Messi was born in 1987 in Argentina. They
met for the first time in 2008, but first, let's talk about what they did before 2008. Ronaldo
was at Sporting Lisbon and played very well there. Then Sir Alex Ferguson, who was the
coach of Manchester United at the time, gave a transfer request to Ronaldo. Ronaldo was
the number 28 at Sporting Lisbon, but at Manchester United, he was the number 7. Ronaldo
played very well there, got into the final of the Uefa Champions League 2008, and got the
cup. Lionel started his career at the Old Boys Football Club. He was very good there, but his
team was not as good as he expected. Barcelona Football Club said that if Messi was tall
enough, he would play for Barcelona Football Club. So he took some medicines and
became taller. He was very close to winning the Uefa Champions League in 2008, but
Barcelona Football Club was eliminated by Manchester United in the semifinals. Ronaldo
met Messi for the first time and beat him there. Ronaldo got his first ballon'dor in 2008, then
Ronaldo transferred to Real Madrid in 2009. The year that Messi got his first Ballon d'Or
Today, Lionel Messi is at Paris Saint-Germain, and Cristiano is at Al Nassr. Ronaldo has 5
balloons, and Messi has 7. Ronaldo has five Champions Leagues; Messi has four. But it is
over for Ronaldo and Messi. The new debate is Mbappe vs. Haaland.
