Jennifer Cassel

                                             Colorado Legislative Update




















        Jennifer is a partner with the government relations firm Bowditch & Cassell Public Affairs (BCPA) where

        she advocates on behalf of economic development, insurance, education, local government, and agriculture
        interests to the Colorado General Assembly. Jennifer co-founded BCPA after working as a lobbyist for
        Tomlinson & Associates advocating on behalf  of many similar interests.  Prior to joining Tomlinson &
        Associates, Jennifer was the Legislative Liaison and Policy Advisor for the Governor’s Office of Economic
        Development and International Trade (OEDIT).  In her role, she advocated on behalf of OEDITs’ legislative

        and policy goals to create economic development tools and to protect the business-friendly environment in
        Colorado. Before joining OEDIT, Jennifer was the Assistant Legislative Liaison for Governor John W.
        Hickenlooper where she worked with the internal legislative and policy teams to coordinate the executive
        branch’s legislative agenda. Jennifer has also worked as a legislative aide, campaign manager, and research
        associate in Washington D.C., Colorado, and Kansas.



        Jennifer was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, and holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and

        International Studies from the University of Kansas, a graduate certificate in World Trade Organizations
        Studies from the University of Geneva, and a Master of Arts degree in International Studies from the
        University of Denver. Jennifer is an avid golfer, skier, and KU and IU basketball fan.
