INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT

Andrea Orozco
Andrea has been a professional investigator for over two decades. Her background includes
internal investigations for a major casino as well as over 20 years of in field surveillance
experience. Andrea specializes in open-source intelligence investigations for insurance
companies, corporations, and family law attorneys. Andrea has spent the majority of her career
working in Colorado. As former VP of Training, VP of Legislation and Past President for the
Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado (PPIAC), she was responsible for the
training and education of investigators throughout the state. Andrea is the Past Chairwoman of
the Board of the national association for the investigative profession, (NCISS). As a 2020
recipient of ‘Investigator of the Year Award and Top 22 Investigator of 2022 by PI Magazine,
Andrea is committed to raising the standard of professionalism as well as protecting the
legislative interests of investigators in Colorado and across the country.
