"I loved the tennis-cricket game because it is a little bit hard, but fun. I have never won it, but once I got close." Blake
"My highlight was at assembly when Mr Verryt called out my name as he was handing out certificates. I was so excited and I went up the steps to the stage to get it. My other highlight was when we did our flocking dance on the stage." Sam
"Gymnastics was really fun. There were eight stations. My favourite station was the bounce on a little trampoline and then go into a forward roll." Caelan
"At the Year 5 Camp we did lots of fun activities such as the flying fox and the water slide. We also had delicious food and my favourite food was brownies with ice cream." Sally
"At our assembly we did a dance and it was so much fun. We did our dance to Maisey Rika’s beautiful Tangaroa song. The dance technique that we used to retell parts of the story was flocking. We had blue and green ribbons." Niamh
"I am thankful for Lego. Lego is good! It helps me with Maths and Science and gives me inspiration. The challenge for me is making a working TV with Lego so I don’t need to watch the real TV." Noah
"My favourite day of school was Camp at School Night because I liked playing with my friends and staying the night at school for the first time." Ben
"One of my highlights of the year was Cross Country. I ran so fast that I could not run any more! We had to do two and a half laps. I was so hot and tired that I drank all of my water!" Sophie H
"Back in May, I loved my first week at school after lockdown. It was strange because we had our bags on our chairs and brought our own hand towels. My highlight was going to the library again and getting more books because I didn’t do this for nearly two months! I also loved being with my friends again and playing on the playground."
