"The highlight of my year would be the Marae trip. It was really fun. My mum was a parent helper so she came on the trip. We had this really good dinner and we got to play outside on the huge field. I loved that day." Sophie W
"I loved going back to school after the first lockdown. Nothing really changed, but I didn’t care. I loved seeing my friends and I also really missed Miss Hurley. I enjoyed doing our roll-a-rainbow art, and also doing the Covid-19 poster." Sofia
"I was so happy about all the construction around the school this year, including: new classrooms, pouring concrete on the top court, and the new stairs down to the field. I am also happy that the senior classrooms are going to be knocked down and there will be new classrooms there." Evan
"My highlight was making the tree hut. It was very hard to make. Now it has a roof too. You can sit on the roof and it is very stable. It is in the tyre area." Ayan
"EPro8 was one of the best things about this year. It is an inventing competition where we got a challenge. This year’s challenge was to build a robotic animal." Connor
"This year was kinda my favourite. I loved the Matariki learning because it’s so cool how the seven stars come together and make a cluster of stars. Then you get to know that the seven stars are a part of a constellation of a bull called Taurus. The thing I like about stars is they shine brightly in the night sky." Kaveesh
"I love reading because it’s nice and quiet. I love picture books because I can see what they’re doing in the story. Reading is good for your brain." Charisse
"On Monday the 7th of September we were playing dodgeball. It was the funnest day in my whole life, but in the future maybe I will have another that I think is the best day of my life." Tun-Tun
