Chess is a fun and interesting board game that helps to develop logical and strategical thinking and patience. During each session, participants will have the
opportunity to build on their knowledge of the game by learning the fundamental rules of chess and learning different tactics and openings. They will also have the
opportunity to play against each other during each session. The aim of the club is to foster the participant’s intellectual growth whilst having fun and being highly
engaged.
We will teach people the fundamentals of chess to help people develop their thinking and strategic skills. We will host tournaments for people to practice playing
in different situations. We will also show brilliant and famous chess games at the end of sessions to show participants how great chess players thought and we will
explain the moves as well.
