The Town of Bristol, New Hampshire is the home to six Town Cemeteries that are over- seen by three elected Bristol Cemetery Trustees. They over- see the care and maintenance of these six cemeteries.
They are the Worthen Cem- etery (Old Cemetery) on Sum- mer Street/Rte. 104, established in 1823, with the last burial in 1967, with 106 burials with 80 headstones, Heath Ceme- tery (Heath Yard) on Summer Street/Rte. 104, established in 1828, with the last burial in 1965, with 65 burials with 65 headstones, Sleeper Cemetery, New Chester Rd, Little Round Top, established in 1807, with the last burial in 1860, with 16 burials and headstones, Keyser Cemetery (Slab Village Burying Ground), Keezer Rd, established 1828, last burial in 1928 with 65 burials and 50 headstones, Sanborn Cemetery, Peaked

   Hill Rd, established 1825 with the last burial in 2006, with 47 burials and headstones, and the last cemetery being the Sleeper Cemetery #2 (Cemetery near Mudgett/The Sleeper Yard), near Akerman Rd., established 1825 with the last burial 1869, with 55 burials and 51 head- stones.
These cemeteries have veter-
ans from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, and World War II and veterans that did not serve in a war. There are total of 17 known burials and there is at least 1 in every cem- etery.
There is one other Cemetery in Bristol and that is Homeland on Rte. 104. This cemetery does not fall under the Town of Bris- tol Cemetery Trustees. It is run by its own Board/Trustees.
The three members of the Town of Bristol Cemetery Trustees are: Richard La- Flamme, Chair, Ron Preble and Cade Overton. The Trustees are elected for three years.
