Cub Scout Pack 56 Event
PLYMOUTH – Cub Scout Pack 56 gathered at St. Matthew’s Church in Plymouth on Thursday for a special Pack meeting to cel- ebrate the end of the Scouting year, to give out advancements for achievements in Scouting and to celebrate the crossover ceremony into Boy Scouts.
During the Pack meeting Cub Scouts were recognized with awards and advancements that have been earned. Receiving their rank badges

were Connor Miller (Lion), Emma Young, Chase Smith, Levi Porter and Tristen Santos (Tiger), Eli Routhier, Hotri Sivalingam, Weston Closson (Wolf), Autumn Stout, Easton Neenos, Evan Sebastiao, Huck Rand, Marcus Heidenreich, Micah Gosling, Noah Koren, Pierce Querry, Riley Neenos (Bear), Reuben Stout (Webelo).
The highlight of the event was the crossover ceremony celebrating 2 Scouts earning “Arrow of Light”, the highest rank in Cub Scouts. During the ceremony, the scouts were escorted around the fellowship hall to recount their achievements at each rank of their Scouting jour- ney including hikes, field trips, and advancements earned. The scouts then walked across a ceremonial bridge. Madeline Duncan was re- ceived by Troop 59 from Bristol, and Porter Doyle was received by Troop 56. Both were presented with new neckerchiefs.
Pack 56 is planning several events over the summer, including 4th of July activities, an overnight campout, and 5 days at scenic Camp Car- penter. Pack 56 serves Plymouth and surrounding communities. Email pack56plymouth@gmail.com for more details.
