Ruth’s decision to get the COVID-19 vaccination was not only about keeping herself healthy, it was also because she cares about the safety of the kids
that she sees throughout the school year. Ruth, a dental hygienist for Speare Memorial Hospital’s Dental Health Program, goes to area schools with portable dental equipment and provides free or low-cost dental care to more than 1,400 local schoolchildren.
