Modeling
True leaders take on the responsibility of role modeling no matter who they are or what position they hold. Often this work ethic comes from answering a higher call. Helping others in sweet, gentle and encouraging ways is a method of modeling that grows others.
Community Learning Circle Questions
We all realize it is important to be good, to do the right thing. Most of us realize we model the way for others at the same time we work on doing the right thing for ourselves. As a self-reflective question, in what ways would you like to improve how you model the way, including your attitude, willingness, gentleness, etc? How do you want to improve in our household life?
Immediate follow-up question (before opening for discussion): Let’s go around the circle one more time - Who among staff and householders would you like to compliment for their role modeling?
Talk About It, Learn From Each Other
Use learning circles and subsequent discussions for any topic, but certainly for ideas on creating a vibrant daily home life. Sharing success stories and struggles will go far in growing each other.
