Easy Access to Resident Activity Information
Some staff have no idea what residents in their household find interesting. Make residents’ activity interests, as well as their care-planned activity goals, easily accessible and readable
at a glance for staff. But also remember that new people in the household – whether staff
or residents – need time and effort on our part to become well acquainted. Imagine you’re blending two families in your own house –
you would naturally work extra hard to help everyone become acquainted with one another. The wonderful side benefit is that those who have been living in the house all along will simultaneously discover new things about each other.
