Intergenerational Opportunities
The Household Model affords opportunities for kids to interact with residents in more ways than ever before. First, children can mingle in the main activities for residents of all households much like we’re used to in the institutional model of care. Second, children can visit a single household, which feels more like visiting in a person’s home. Third, the increase of private rooms gives residents the choice of hosting a child in more personal surroundings.
