“Town Center” Activities for Residents of All Households
At Perham Memorial where events offered to residents of all households are called Town Center activities. It is a term appropriate to the Household Model, so we use it here, too. Religious services, movies, special events and other social gatherings are typical Town Center activities. Perham Memorial decided to offer at least three Town Center activities per week. In fact, their calendar shows one offered almost daily. Planned Town Center activities are communicated to household coordinators for inclusion in each household’s activity calendar. Make sure your residents are aware of Town Center activities and, if needed, are assisted in getting to them by household staff, volunteers or family members.
