Peace and Quiet
The Household Model contributes to peace and quiet by eliminating major thoroughfares with people and carts rolling by. Most households further decrease institutional noises by installing carpet, replacing overhead paging with wireless calling systems, and adopting WanderGuard® magnetic systems that cause
a door to lock instead of audibly alarm. Many homes devise other creative alternatives to noisy and degrading personal alarms.

Lazy Days
One of Elton’s favorite past times was napping in his hammock. He carried his hammock with him wherever he went and often when he traveled he would stop at a nearby rest area, tie his hammock between two trees and take an afternoon rest.
So naturally, when he and Rosa moved to Mountain View at Garden Spot Village, he brought his hammock with him. Every afternoon, weather permitting, Elton takes his hammock out to the courtyard and ties
it between a tree and the gazebo. He then climbs in, makes himself comfortable and drifts off into a peaceful sleep.
His wife Rosa who is an avid reader, will often accompany him by sitting nearby inside the gazebo reading her favorite novel. For Elton, a hammock makes it home.
