The Importance of Going Outdoors
Household remodels or new construction typically include outdoor space easily accessible by residents of any household. Sometimes this simply may be an upper floor balcony. Household life demands the ability to come and go in the house and outdoors as one pleases. Designing for access to the outdoors is even more important for householders living above the ground floor. Ideally, any living arrangement above ground floor has an outdoor area like a deck or patio for gardening or just sitting in the sun.
