OUR MISSION
The Piper’s mission is to create the climate of home for seniors seeking retirement living, assisted living or other care services. To that end, we welcome you, with your unique set of strengths, talents, experiences, competencies, education, licenses, and certifications.
The Piper is uniquely designed and operated by Action Pact. We have, since 1997 shaped, developed and promoted the Household Model®. We, at Action Pact, work together (as developers, architects, designers, nurses, caregivers, dietitians, financial analysts, accountants, administrators, social workers, therapists, facilitators, writers, educators, information technologists, support staff and others) to build and promote the sanctity of home. We work rigorously to maintain the well-being for all who live in the transformational environments that we shape and serve.
We value person-centered care, and resident-directed life, focusing on each individual’s unique personality and how they wish to live each day.
We value self-led teams that work within the organization’s mission, standards and expectations to set meaningful goals, establish commendable practices, and delight in serving our customers, clients and associates.
We value ‘home’ as relating to each individual heart’s desire, and strive to enable the choices and quality of life that the seniors we serve enjoyed in their previous homes. Each is respected as an individual and assumes a central role in decision-making.
We value community, where members live, work and socialize; where they are actively engaged and give and receive within their friendships, households, neighborhood, city, state and country.
We value growth – in training (skills) and education (knowledge) as both a means and an end. By deeply investing in staff, the residents and their families, we further community, enhance possibilities of individual fulfillment and set an implicit standard that guides our behavior as an organization.
We will all go out of our way to help you find your way to contribute and to excel. Together we will accomplish our mission.
