1989 – 2006 Insurance Industry Accident Management

After a year of misdirected activity, I was approached by Steve Evans, the
former police officer who had left to set up a ground-breaking software
company supplying the insurance industry. You will recall this was the man
whose company sponsored our CID charity cycle ride.

By now Steve had sold his shares in his company for a cool seven figure sum
and had set up another company with a pioneering concept, providing hire
cars to the innocent drivers involved in road traffic accidents. Steve needed
someone with confidence to take the product to the streets, promoting it to
               crash repairers and insurance brokers.

The service provided a much-needed solution to an age-old problem. I leapt
at the chance to be involved in something fresh and exciting. In practice, I
soon discovered that very little selling was required as the marketplace had
been waiting tor the solution I brought to their door.

In a few short months the business exploded with success and I was
appointed the company Sales & Marketing Director, with the luxury trappings
               that role entailed. Page306
