                                 REPRODUCTIVE NURSES SIG
“Together we can grow as a SIG and a Society to represent our professions through the Asia Pacific,” she said.
Astor has been working in the field of reproductive medicine for more than 15 years. She is the unit manager of the Union Reproductive Medicine Centre in Hong Kong. The centre was established by Union Hospital in 2000. It offers professional diagnosis and treatments to infertile couples.
Astor said she was very excited about the newly formed SIG, which facilitates knowledge exchange among fertility nurses in the region.
“It is also a great platform where nurses can find training materials and attend courses to keep their skills and knowledge up to date,” she added.
“To enhance the standards of care, the SIG encourages nurses to take a more active role by sharing their own experiences. We hope to organise pre-Congress courses for members in the near future.
